Feb 6-7 – AI Action Summit Conference: AI, Science, and Society by IP Paris

The Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) will host an international conference on February 6-7, 2025 dedicated to exploring the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on science and society. As a key part of the AI Action Summit, these science days aim to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on technological innovation, scientific research, and societal evolution around AI.

“AI for a sustainable future” symposium

This research symposium on “AI for a Sustainable Future” at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris will present research, state-of-the-art and current initiatives on the use of AI for Sustainable Development goals.

Environmental concerns will feature prominently in this workshop, dedicated to exploring the complex relationship between the development of artificial intelligence and sustainability, with an emphasis on environmental considerations. It aims not only to present the latest research leveraging artificial intelligence to achieve sustainable development goals, but also to address current and future strategies for minimizing the environmental impact of artificial intelligence systems themselves, by promoting energy-efficient algorithms and sustainable infrastructures.

The symposium will be moderated by Thomas Le Goff (Télécom Paris), Alexandre D’aspremont (ENS), Ricardo Vinesua (KTH Royale Institute of Technology) and Lynn Kaack (Hertie School).
